First a Reminder and Caution

I've read the caution and reminder statements already, take me to Private Campaign Email

Reminder
This is internal campaign communication. Please do not give out the address to the SLs alumni web site to anyone other than current SLs, SLs alumni, friends of the SLs, and family. Thank you.

Words of Caution
When writing your letters, remember to be careful not to quote Pete directly
and be careful not to divulge sensitive information that we get from Pete. Some of what Pete reports to us is inside information. And Pete still works for Penn State. Also remember to take statements in context. For instance, when Pete says the Music Department got his services for "free" he is talking about how money was allocated between university departments. The university did not get his services for free, but the Music Department was not reimbursing the library for Pete's SLs time as it was apparently supposed to be doing. So, in effect, the Music Department got Pete's services for free while the university library unknowingly picked up the tab.

Also, understand that these messages are in chronological order as I receive them. The people writing them have not necessarily seen all the ones before theirs.

As the discussion continues, our collective understanding of the situation improves. Some info here is inaccurate, but you will only figure that out if you read all the messages. I will eventually try to gather what we know to be true from these messages and post a summary. But for now, you are on your own. Just be careful how you use information that you have not confirmed as accurate. Extreme statements could be truth or venting. Remember, this is our private communication. All our rantings and frustrations are not fit for the eyes others.
